For serious! I actually had a conversation about this with a hardcore PC gamer recently. We were talking about how game developers are getting away with terrible console to PC ports because as long as they have the name branding, they can basically do whatever they want. No one is taking a stand against these developers because that means being the "only one" not playing the hot game of the month. In the end though, I'm not sure even taking a real stand would work. There will always be thousands of 12 year olds that don't read forums and are happy to beg their parents for any and all new games.

Though I suppose that might apply more to console gaming than pc gaming, but making more money via 12 year old console players still hurts pc gamers.

Perhaps the age of core gamers is coming to an end. :( We'll have to make way for Halo 10 and Cooking Mama 20.
